On January 13th of this year, we were so excited
to host our first mission conference!
My father, missionary Peter Ard, was our guest speaker and we had a great attendance on both days of our conference.We started out on Saturday evening with an international supper...it was so
weird to be eating food from other countries prepared by the Mexican ladies in our church! There were Honduran, Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Costa Rican, and also American dishes to just name a few of the countries represented at the buffet line. Besides someone making Lasagna with peas (YUCK!), all in all, the dishes were pretty good.

Sunday we had a mission emphasis in both the morning and also the evening service. There was special music, of course our guest speaker, and we even had several visitors! The people in our church-some for the first time ever, are participating in faith promise!
Please pray for Iglesia Bautista Peninsular as she strives to move forward as a church and also for God's continued blessing upon our mission program.
